Psychotherapy
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP), and an elected Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA-F). I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, work-related stress, family of origin issues, cross-cultural issues, immigrant/expatriate issues, identity exploration, loneliness, and artistic/creative process.
I am trained to recognize and work with the dynamics of trauma and addictions across individuals and systems. My fluency in the psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral (CBT), and internal family systems (IFS) traditions of therapy enable me to be versatile in my approach, which I adapt according to the needs of the individuals and groups I work with.
I intentionally maintain a small caseload, which allows me to make space for more depth, presence, and attention in each therapeutic hour.
I work with adult Illinois residents in person - out of my Chicago Loop office - and via secure video conference.

I am involved with the American Group Psychotherapy Association, where I am a Fellow and a co-chair of the International Relations Special Interest Group. I have also served on the board of the Great Lakes Group Psychotherapy Society.
